We have grown and the Slam needs support for administration, and promotional costs to keep this Spoken Word Fest, which has become a rite of passage for countless young poets, alive and functioning. So we've come up with 3 options for you to choose from:

Sponsorship Packages

Thanks for checking out the various ways you, and your business, can become a sponsor of the 9th Annual West Coast Championship Poetry Slam happening July 2006 at the Henry Miller Library in Big Sur, California.

It's hard to believe it's been nine years since we began this poetic endeavour in the Summer of '98. Back then no one expected the level of excitement, and interest the event was to be received with. In fact, from that auspicious beginning it very quickly it evolved into a rite of passage for poets in the western United States.

Your support will go a long way toward making the Slam happen, and giving your business exposure to people from all age ranges. From the 18 - 35 market to 35 and older, this event reaches people who are discerning, and want more from life. Sponsoring this event can help your business reach these groups, and identify it with those qualities of life they find most appealing.

We've come up with four sponsorship packages:

Silver Sponsor - $100

- One Poetry Slam Sponsor shirt, available in several different styles with your business name on it, identifying your business as an official Slam Sponsor

- A text link to your website on our Sponsor page

- Acknowledgement of your sponsorship live from the stage during the entire event

- Two Tickets for Saturday July 16, that you can use for your own enjoyment, or give as gifts to clients or employees.

Gold Sponsor - $250

- Your business logo on our Sponsor web page linked to your website

- A text link to your website on our Sponsor page

- Identification of your business as a sponsor on our press materials

- Acknowledgement of your sponsorship live from the stage during the entire event

- Choice of one West Coast Slam Sponsor Women's Raglan Hoodie and a Slam Sponsor Ringer T or 3 Slam Sponsor shirts with your business name on it

- Two Weekend passes for the Slam

- One CD of the West Coast Championship Poetry Slam

Platinum Sponsor - $500

- A web page on our site created for your business exclusively with links to your business web site

- Your business logo and name on our Sponsor webpage linked to your exclusive web page, and your business web site

- The option of having a Banner or sign advertising your business placed for public view on the grounds during the event

- Acknowledgement of your sponsorship live from the stage during the entire event

- One West Coast Slam Women's Tracksuit, One West Coast Slam Hooded Sweatshirt, One Slam Sponsor Ringer T or six Slam Sponsor shirts with your business name on it

- Four Weekend passes for the Slam

- One CD of the West Coast Championship Poetry Slam

Titanium Sponsor - $1000

- A web page on our site created for your business exclusively with links to your business web site with the option of hosting audio/video files

- Your business logo and name on our Sponsor webpage linked to your web site

- The option of having a Banner or sign advertising your business placed for public view on the grounds during the event or a booth to showcase your products and services

- Acknowledgement of your sponsorship live from the stage during the entire event

- One West Coast Slam Women's Tracksuit, One West Coast Slam Hooded Sweatshirt, One Slam Sponsor Ringer T or ten Slam Sponsor shirts with your business name on it

- Six Weekend passes for the Slam, six single day passes good for Saturday or Sunday

- One copy of each of the West Coast Championship Poetry Slam CD's
